For the past fiveyears, WIS LIbrary has participated in the following fund raising programs. These funds have been used to buy additional books, support library after school programs and furnish our library with new chairs, tables and a bookshelf. WIS Library raises additional funds through the following programs:

Scholastic Book Fairs (Fall and Spring) (As part of the fall book fair, we do “One for Books” challenge. This not only helps the library, but it also helps supply additional book for classrooms and for three different charities to buy books for disadvantaged children. Classrooms are in competition with one another to see who can raise the most money. The top 6th grade and 5th grade class get a popcorn party. If we reach over $1000.00 I buy everyone in school an ice cream treat.)
